Wine from the archive is now Via Tempia. What does it mean for you?
In Czech we say “let’s pour ourselves pure wine,” which means “let’s speak frankly”. So let us admit that nothing can stay the same forever. Even good wine matures over time, and so have we.
We’ve matured to the point where the name Wine from the archive was too small for us.
Great news for you: with the new name we’re bringing news you’ll enjoy.
Via Tempia, we’re pleased to meet you!
Since 2016 we’ve been selecting the best vintage wines from around the world. And we’re still going to continue doing this, but under a new name.
So here it is: We’re Via Tempia, and we’re pleased to meet you. Your journey in search of time-tested wines.
You’ll still find vintage wines in our shop that were personally selected by our founder, the sommelier Jan Pánek. You’ll buy the most precious gift here: wine from your celebrant’s year of birth. But now your shopping will be much easier and more pleasant.
Why is the new name cause for celebration?
Because we’ve been thinking of you while making these changes. What have we prepared for you?
- New tasting sets assembled by our founder Honza. They’ll take you on a tour of wines worth tasting and comparing.
- Engraving. We can burn any inscription you like onto a wooden gift box, so that your gift is even more personal. Try it out by December 11th 2022 for free.
- Wines photographed from all angles. Now you can inspect each bottle before purchasing it, just like if you were holding it in your hands.
- More convenient and faster shopping. Our new e-shop will be a joy to use. If anything occurs to you that we could still improve, write to us.
And it still holds true that we’ll deliver wine directly to your celebrant. We’ll also add a personal message on handmade paper for free.
Sommelier’s tip: Be the first to taste the wines from the new tasting set. You’ll find vintage red and white wines from the Spanish Urbina winery. They aren’t in any hurry with their wine, and they give it all the time it needs. This is reflected in its rich and mature taste.
