A silky ruby Tempranillo

Perfectly mature.

This is the archival red wine made from the traditional Tempranillo variety.

Its aroma begins with a gentle whiff of black cherries and oak. Then mineral tones join them, and truffles and spice. The aroma then beautifully rounds out to a perfect harmony.

Your tongue confirms what your nose guessed. It has a complex, balanced taste. Smooth and even velvety, with a refreshing acidity. It dances elegantly on your taste buds and offers long-lingering final tones.

Perfect taste comes from slow care

The winemakers from the Urbina family are following the craft of their great grandfather Salvador. He founded the winery in 1870. This archival wine from 2006 was also created according to his traditions.

Tempranillo grapes are typical for the La Rioja region. Winemakers let them macerate for 28 days and then the wine matures for 2 years in barrels made from American and French oak. They are also reflected in the taste and flavor of this wine.

This archival wine has been waiting to meet you since 2006 and it’s slowly disappearing. Taste it while you still can. It’s an experience you won’t forget.

This wine received 92 points out of 100 at the Decanter World Wine Awards competition.

„Excellent texture and taste, highly recommended. Good value as well“
