There are moments in life that call for an exceptional toast. What would you say to three bottles of genuine Champagne, that have been maturing for you since 2005, 2008 and 2009?
This Champagne comes from the Champagne Bouché family winery, where the fourth generation of winemakers are working the vineyards. One of the best terroirs in the Champagne region gave rise to a rich wine that aged on its lees for 6 to 10 years. Their vintage wines here are only made from the best years. And these are the ones you’ll be tasting with us.
Look forward to the sparkling, complex taste of the selected grapes.
“Champagne Bouché is one of the wineries where it’s worth it to taste wines from different vintages. That’s why I put together this tasting set: so you can find out how the weather and the years of maturation are reflected in a premium Champagne.”
Jan Pánek, sommelier and founder of Via Tempia
What awaits you in this tasting set of wines?
2005 Champagne Bouché Millesime Vintage
This is an archival bottle of genuine Champagne which is made from equal amounts of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It matured for 6 years on its lees, and thus acquired rich aromas with notes of baked bread. It will dazzle you with its deep yellow color and delicate bubbles.
You will recognize candied fruit and honey in this Champagne, and the intensity of its taste may surprise you.
This Champagne is best enjoyed in combination with poultry or fish, or as an aperitif.
2008 Champagne Bouché Millesime Vintage
Pinot Noir (70 %) is also predominant in the 2008 Champagne Bouché, complemented by Chardonnay (30 %).
One third of the wine was aged in oak barrels, which give it a unique taste and aroma. This is how a genuine Champagne was produced, which combines strength and freshness. Its taste is rich and distinctive, and its aroma is light and refreshing.
The prestigious French wine guide Guide Hachette des Vins write about Bouché 2008: “After 12 years’ maturation this vintage is a wonderful, refined, and elegant champagne that perfectly complements any dish.”
2009 Champagne Bouché Millesime Vintage
This genuine French Champagne from 2009 is made from Pinot Noir (70 %) and Chardonnay (30 %). The blended wines rested for 10 years on fine lees. This is how its light aroma of candied fruit with tones of toasted bread was created. Its taste will thrill you with its fullness and intensity.
It tastes great with white meat, and connoisseurs will also appreciate it as an aperitif.
