Flowers, papaya, and caramel in one wine
Pour this golden wine with greenish highlights into a glass. It’s bright and clear.
The aroma of caramel candies, banana cake and dried mangoes reaches your nose. Perhaps you’ll even detect tones of papaya and spice. These are followed by cantaloupe and fresh yellow apples.
The archival Urbina Viura Reserva 2013 floods your mouth with freshness. Sweet tones, and at the same time significant acidity. The mature fruity tones are reminiscent of melons and apricots. Everything is balanced by honey and white flowers.
An archival wine from a traditional winemaking family
Members of the Urbina family have been devoted to wine since 1870. Since this time, they have preserved many traditional methods and they aren’t in a hurry for their wine.
This time they used the Macabeo variety, which is typical for the La Rioja province. They let the grapes macerate for 48 hours and then ferment slowly. Then the wine matured for 6 months in oak barrels.
Only 5 578 bottles of the archival Urbina Viura Reserva were produced. Get yours and enjoy every drop of it.
