“A wine you can drink today. Or wait 10 years and enjoy its full potential.”
This is how the winemakers from the André Brunel winery describe their 2021 vintage.
They harvest the grapes for this dry red wine by hand in several pebbly vineyards – and it’s these pebbles (cailloux) that gave the wine its name. Each part of the vineyard has given this archival Châteauneuf-du-Pape its different characteristics. A rich taste, enchanting bouquet, and intense red color.
This is why the 2021 vintage is so concentrated and full. Your nose will catch delicate woody notes. The flavor of red and black fruit will roll around in your mouth. Then, the elegant tannins will come into their own. And finally, there’s a long finish with a hint of orange peel and white pepper.
We’ve pre-selected wines from the André Brunel family winery for you primarily for their potential for further maturation. They taste great young, but continue to develop with each year of archiving.
Find out how the flavors of the 2021 vintage will blend together after a few years have passed. Or taste it right away.
