A balanced, noble semi-dry wine. The 2014 Riesling will surpise you with its exotic aroma of passion fruit and quince. It will present to you the wines from Alsace in the north of France as made by Michel Fonné. Want to taste it?

Michel Fonné: A winemaker with tradition and science under his belt

Wine from Michel Fonné winery will transport you to Alsace in the north of France. Michel Fonné himself is continuing on in a winemaking tradition that reaches back to 1747. He studied winemaking in Dijon and Damery and took both traditional and new methods home with him.

He harvests the grapes from various parts of the vineyards by hand and processes them separately to conserve the characteristics of the soil.

Riesling Grand Cru: The best vineyards for the best wines

The Grand Cru label hints at where this Traminer matured. Exceptional soil with elements of marble, limestone, granite, calcium and magnesium has been reserved for the Grand Cru series.

That’s why this vintage Riesling is balanced and rich in taste. Maracuya and quince will tickle your nose, followed by tones of almonds.

Wines from the Grand Cru series are noble and delicate – ideal for archiving. Taste the vintage Riesling with fish and desserts, or give it another few years of maturing.
